Welcome

Old London Road (OLRPS) is a community preschool that was relaunched in September 1999 by Janet Audley-Charles. It was registered as a charity in the year 2000 and follows the constitution of the Early years Alliance. Since then the preschool has grown in numbers and as at summer 2020 we had over 70 families on roll. The preschool is run by a management committee of parents and supporters. We run several extracurricular activities and fundraising events for parents and children. Please see our latest outstanding OFSTED report here.

The government has announced a "billion pound Covid catch up plan" including £650m for schools & £350m for a tutoring scheme aimed at the most disadvantaged children.

Sadly, the package does not include ANY measures to support the early years sector.
